Summer Concert 2024

Saturday, August 31 was forecasted to be a summer thunderstorm. A few hours before the concert, radio announcers were warning of the coming storm. We monitored the weather closely, and surprisingly to all, the storm cleared and the day was bright, sunny, and beautiful! 

The event opened with a performance by African Dance Ensemble, accompanied by local drummers from the Friday drumming classes that take place at Quinte Arts Council. 

Butterfly Band then took the stage and got everyone up on their feet dancing to their irresistible melodies! 

A balloon castle was a fun attraction for the kids!
